Well day one went very well.  We had no mishaps along the way.  The weather was beautiful - Sunny and no wind.  And yes we were in Oregon for the first 4-5 hours.  Probably the best weather day Oregon will have until after July 4th.  We had planned to go all the way to Corning CA but that's when we figured out that 350 miles a day was our limit.  The nice thing about being retired (sorry Mickey) is that we can change our minds and stop whenever we want.  Tomorrow we head to Chowchilla CA and then figure out the next stop from there.
So far no problems with our new home.  Except half way here we got a rattle, now for those of you who know Jack you can imagine that I had to do everything I could from my seat to find the rattle.  We drove for probably an hour to an hour and a half and then we had to pull into a rest area supposedly so Jack could stretch his legs.  He did stretch them right over to the passenger side window where the rattle was.  Mr. Trouble Shooter found it right away.  It was this little clip thingy outside my window and he had to fix it right then and there.  No more rattle.
Well time for relaxing.  Write more soon.
