Hi everyone,
Thought I would fill you all in on our great adventure at Glacier National Park.  We spent Saturday doing laundry and then took a ride.  We decided we were taking some down time.  Sunday we cleaned, that takes about 30 minutes start to finish then we lazed around some more cause we had to laze around and work up the ambition to clean for 30 minutes.  We were then ready to go to Glacier National Park.  We entered at West Glacier and stopped at Apgar and looked around a bit.  Talked to the rangers in the information center and then went in the gift shops for a bit.  After that we took a ride up to Lake  McDonald Lodge.  Walked around and looked at the lodge and its property then watched the boats for a short while.  Drove back and tried to find a place to eat.  That didn't work out to well for us.  We didn't want burgers but since it was only around 3 p.m. nothing was open for dinner.  Ended up coming back to the campsite and getting a snack then heading back out around 6 for dinner.  Let me tell you that the views around here are magnificent but the food, not so great.  I should have just cooked instead of wasting our money.  Oh well, live and learn.  Today we went back to Lake McDonald Lodge to take the lake boat tour.  Was wonderful.  The lake was smooth as glass and the ranger on the boat was quite informative.  The ride was an hour and that was plenty as there was no shade.  I don't think I would have lasted where we were sitting for much more than an hour.  We booked our Red Bus Tour (Jammers) for Wednesday.  We will be gone for the entire day starting at 8 a.m. This tour takes us on the Road to the Sun and all the way to Many Glacier Hotel.  Be prepared for lots of pictures. 
Not sure what tomorrow will bring.  Jack is talking about taking a ride to Whitefish.  Will let you know.
