Hi everyone,
Jack and I are back on the road. We left New Jersey after spending 3 months (almost) with our families. Had a great time and got to do a lot of family dinners, trips to the shore and softball and little league games.
We had an exciting trip from South Jersey to Massachusetts yesterday. Rain and rain and more rain. Did find some roads that were as bad as California. Yes, New York I mean you!!! We are at Fourth Cliff Recreational area and have a wonderful campsite. Our front windows are looking out at Cape Cod Bay. Beautiful this morning even with the rain, will be beautiful tomorrow morning when the sun comes out. (I have always been an optimist.)
We are going to chill today and see if we can get some lobsters for dinner and tomorrow we will start sight seeing. Not sure where we will go but we want to see Boston, Plymouth and Cape Cod. We are fortunate that our friends Kathy and Dick are visiting Boston and the Cape and we are going to meet them on Thursday on the Cape. Funny thing, they were taking a train from Long Island and we were driving and we were running parallel to them all the way up. They got to Boston at 5 and we got to the campsite at 5.
Well, just wanted you all to know that we are back and will be blogging. Here until the 17th then heading to Vermont, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Will be working our way west and will be back in Oregon in August for about a month, then who knows where we will go.
Lobster for dinner and a view of the bay....caught my attention right away :)
